re·treat  *  /rəˈtrēt/  *  verb

Withdraw to a quiet or secluded place.

Are you in the wilderness of life? Are you felling discouraged, alone, tempted, abandoned, overwhelmed, lost, burdened, empty, exhausted, attacked or confused? Do not lose hope.

The wilderness can feel like an unpleasant place, but the same God who created the garden also created the wilderness and that SAME God, wants to meet us in the midst of these intense experiences, to show Himself to us & show ourselves to us. He wants to meet us right where we are to help us overcome and give us rest. "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." - Matthew 11:29-30

Our soul cravings will not be satisfied by the thing the world has to offer. There are certain things we can only learn in the wilderness! He is waiting for us to meet Him there, to surrender and to depend on Him alone. Lets fix our eyes on Jesus and remember that God will never forsake us. He will carry us just like he carried those out of Egypt "In the wilderness … you saw how the LORD God carried you, just as a man carries his son, in all the way which you have walked until you came to this place." Deuteronomy 1:31

Hi, I'm Hilda!  I love Jesus with all of my heart and have a passion for leading people to the cross. The ONLY place where true peace, hope, healing and restoration can be found.

I have personally been in the midst of many God appointed "wildernesses" in my life, we all have a story. I have ALSO personally experienced Gods grace and supernatural healing in my life numerous times & am here to tell you that the mighty power of God has helped me overcome EVERYTHING the enemy intended for bad and I have NO DOUBT that He wants to do the same for you!

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." - 2 Corinthians 1:3

Oftentimes, God takes us "to the wilderness" to prepare us for what He is planning for our lives, to give us revelations of who He is, to help up grow into who He intended for us to be and to draw us closer to Him. Don't run from this time "in the wilderness" you have been brought to, lean into it. God is waiting for you there.

Hello, my name is Danielle! I am on a journey, I tell ya! Aren’t you? Like you, I have gone through my share of failures and successes. I’ve been full of life as well as crazy confused, bored and even traumatized. I love it when Jesus’ work to bring mercy to the world can be discovered in these contexts. His words of mercy heal me. We know this life will have challenges, but we can get through those with God’s help. I am deeply grateful that Jesus reminded the people around him, “I desire mercy and not sacrifice,” which to me means all of us who try so hard can remember to relax. It’s OK to want some compassion, support and hope. Jesus’ disciple James also rejoiced that “mercy triumphs over judgment!” Let’s find this together at the retreat! I think that means God wants us to have confidence, to live into the next phase in our journey with more freedom.
